Last games of the year

My last games of the year were played with my brother in law: 8 games of BattleLore (4 victories each...).

I played also two solo games with World at War: Eisenbach Gap (scenario 4). One game was a crushing soviet victory, the revenge was a lucky american victory (even if I'm always on the american side...). Below is the first game where the Delta Dogs never reached the battlefield (and the 1st Armored Rgt always activated: in three turns 6 tank platoons exited the map!!).

A bridge too far ?

I forgot to show you what was in my letter box the fourth of january: my Lock'n Load order. A good way to start 2012.

So I was eager to play again and I set up Eisenbach Gap scenario 3. The Americans have to capture the bridge at Eisenbach (in 11 turns) to cut the Soviet supply lines.

I succeeded in 10 turns. A very tense and fun game.

The Third World War in 2012 ?

2011 is near finished and it was a great gaming year (see all the game played in 2011). I just bought World at War: Eisenbach Gap by Lock'n Load Publishing and it's a real pleasure to fight against enemies we love to hate: the Soviets! So I ordered Death of the 1st Panzer (with West German troops), Blood and Bridge (with the Brits) and the World at War Compendium...
I managed to play eight games (including four with my brother-in-law) in the last four days. A brilliant end for 2011!
