The End Times

I don't know much about The End Times in the Warhammer universe. But we played part of this campaign (the Fall of Altdorf) doing battles with Warmaster and The Uncharted Seas and skirmishes with Song of Blades and Heroes. All in all, a very fun experience...

We played a few games during Christmas. The idea was to have fun with quick games so we tested Eight-Minutes Empire and Draco Mundis.

For the moment I read a lot about this Warring State period. To better understand the context I play some battles using Samurai (by GMT Games) and Ran (also by GMT).

Mice & Mystics

My 5 years old son and I are fan of Mouse Guard.  So Mice and Mystics is, for us, the game to play (before painting and playing with Splintered Light Miniatures minis).

We played the first two chapters of the story book. A very pleasant experience…

Wargame: Hold the Line

Hold the Line deals with the American Revolutionary War. It's a wargame with simple rules but full of decision-making. Quick and fun. All in all, a good tool to initiate somebody to strategic thinking.
